As-salaam alaykum! Happy new year and happy January! 2025 was a complicated year all around, but we persisted and are proud to say we performed over 24 shows, produced our two full performances of “Huriya: a dance for liberation”, hosted Esraa Warda for workshops in Seattle, brought six new dancers into the Qabila Dance family, and welcomed Baby Owen (huge congrats and love to our Qabila member Nicole!!!). 2026 is starting off with auditions for both our Los Angeles and Seattle chapters (full details below for anyone interested). And we have a variety of performances coming up to get this year off to a dancing start! Additionally, mark your calendars NOW for two amazing dance intensives we are hosting in Los Angeles:
4/5-6 Soumaya MaRose for a full Moroccan weekend Intensive
7/25-26 Iraqi Intensive featuring Mohanned Hawaz
