As-salaam alaykum! Happy February all! This month is packed with celebrations from Ramadan to Lunar New Year to Valentine’s Day to Black History Month! We are leaning into the celebrations not because the world is easier but because our joy & connection is vital for our futures and well being. So I hope you are finding ways to nurture your love in this life and taking care of your heart. There is so much that feels brutal in this world, and there is so much we are inspired by to keep fighting for our collective liberation. Keep dancing and Free Falastin, Iran, Congo, and Sudan!
We are honored to present THREE amazing cultural dance weekends this year with three distinct and amazing dancers of culture. Immerse yourself in dance, music and culture to learn about Morocco with Soumaya MaRose, Iraq with Mohanned Hawaz, and Tunisia with Shani. Each weekend is uniquely curated to foster cultural understanding and community connection. Mark your calendars and make sure to register for these incredible opportunities to study and be inspired!
