The Qabila Foundation is excited to host our 2nd annual Seattle Chapter audition! Online auditions begin Tuesday, June 22 and are due by Tuesday, July 6.
All dancers, genders, ages, and bodies welcome! Some dance experience recommended. Regional folkdance training is given to all members so prior experience with these dances is not required. We do require a love for Arabic music & dance and community spirit to be a part of this supportive and hard working team.
Additionally members are required to attend weekly in person rehearsals at Studio 2+U (1201 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98101) on Saturdays from 4-6 pm and pay monthly dues of $20 to help cover company costs. Costumes, props, and training are provided. Invitations will go out by July 8 and new members will join rehearsals starting Saturday, July 10.

PLUS video links of you dancing the following two combinations. Please make sure your whole body is visible. Any cane, stick, or assaya can be substituted for the Saidi combo.
